Water for Life: 6 Deep Water Pumps Installed in Two Years.

In the last two years with this one, I have been able to provide a total of 6 deep water pumps with your support and prayers.

“The best charity is to provide water.”

More than 15 families will collect water from this new deep tubewell. Because the area is close to Dhaka City, getting water from a regular tap with hand pressure is nearly impossible. Water can only be extracted by deep tube-wells only in certain places.

Rahima Begum said, “We have a big problem with water here. It’s hard to explain how bad it is. To give my daughter a bath, I have to walk a long way to fetch water or have to use dirty water from the pond. The daily struggle for water extends to basic necessities like drinking, cooking, bathing, washing clothes, and cleaning dishes. We struggle every day for every drop of water.”

Through a week of hard work, time and effort I was able to install this Deep Water Pump with the help of the villagers. It cost around 80,000 taka to install the deep water pump.

My friends, the families have sent their heartfelt prayers, gratitude and best wishes for all of you.

Please keep me in your prayers, so that I can continue my journey of improving the lives of those in need.

Love and Light

"I see the beauty of people and the human soul in the pictures I take. And though the circumstances of some of the people I portray may be grim, back-breaking, depraved, the people themselves are always remarkable characters and souls" For me Photography is my language, to access, to communicate, to identify and mostly to make it hear. Through photography I only jot down my heart’s language. The best part about being a photographer is that I’m able to articulate the experiences of the voiceless and to bring their identities to the forefront which gives meaning and purpose to my own life.
